PR-style drawing reviews
One pending review per project at a time, with a clear lifecycle: pending → approved | changes-requested | rejected. The requester opens with an optional revision label and notes. The reviewer is notified, decides, and the requester is notified back. A full history of past reviews lives under the current one — the same way your software team already works.
Tasks
- Single assignee, due date, priority (low / normal / high).
- Status: open / in-progress / blocked / done / cancelled.
- "My tasks" and "Tasks I assigned" views. Inline comment thread per task.
- Email autocomplete for the assignee field (org members only).
- Overdue tasks highlighted in red on the dashboard.
Project & file management
- Google-Drive-style folder browser with breadcrumbs, drag-to-move, rename, delete.
- Recent projects and my pending tasks widgets on the dashboard.
- Full-text search across projects, folders and tasks, with type-icons in the dropdown.
- Per-org storage quota with a visual meter in the sidebar.
Roles & permissions
Three roles per organisation:
- Admin — edit, invite/remove members, approve drawings.
- User — edit, request reviews; cannot approve.
- Viewer — read-only.
Plus per-project share permissions on top: viewer / commenter / editor / owner.
Audit log
Every login, project create, schematic edit, drawing publish and share is recorded with IP and timestamp. When something needs explaining to a client, you have the receipts.
Procurement-ready output
One-click CSV BOM export with reference, name, type, manufacturer, manufacturer P/N, your internal P/N, qty, drawing, unit cost and currency. Push the same BOM to Odoo as mrp.bom for manufacturing planning.
Read-only client share
Generate a /view/<token> link with optional expiry and send it to the client. They open the project on a phone or laptop — no account, no install — and see the drawings and title-block metadata.
