KKE Circuit (the "Service") is operated by KKE Soteco ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), company name, country.
Billing data: when you subscribe, our payment processor collects your payment-instrument details. We retain only invoices, billing address and the last four digits of cards.
Customer Content: drawings, schematics, BOMs, comments, attachments and any other material you create or upload to the Service.
Support communications: messages you send us by email, ticket or chat.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Usage data: pages viewed, features used, sessions, browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP, referring URL.
Log data: IP address, user-agent, timestamps, error and performance metrics.

2. How we use information

To provide and operate the Service, including syncing your drawings and rendering schematics.
To bill you, manage your subscription and prevent fraud.
To send service announcements, security alerts and (with your consent) product updates.
To analyse usage, debug and improve the Service.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

We process personal data on the bases of (a) performance of a contract with you, (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service, (c) compliance with legal obligations, and (d) your consent for non-essential cookies and marketing communications.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

Subprocessors who run parts of the Service on our behalf, including:
- Google Cloud Platform - hosting, storage, databases (data resides in Google data centres in the United States and/or the European Union).
- Cloudflare - CDN, DDoS protection, email routing.
- Stripe - payment processing.
- An email service provider for transactional and marketing email.
Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, property or safety.
A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, subject to this policy.

5. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

6. Retention

We retain account data for the life of your account plus a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 12 months) for legal, accounting and security purposes. Customer Content is deleted on a rolling basis after account closure unless you request earlier deletion.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, port, restrict, object to or delete personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@kkecircuit.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

8. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards (TLS in transit, encryption at rest, principle of least privilege, audit logging) to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure; if we ever experience a breach affecting you, we will notify you in line with applicable law.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have, please contact us.

10. Changes

We will post any material changes to this policy on this page and, where required, notify you by email. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
