Use cases.
Workflows tailored to your role and industry — process engineers to panel builders to oil & gas — for teams in Worldwide.
For Worldwide: KKE Circuit is available across Global in English. Region: Global (INT).
For process engineers — KKE Circuit workflows for P&ID work
Process engineers use KKE Circuit to maintain a single source of truth for plant documentation: P&IDs, instrument loops, equipment lists, and pipe BOMs. The auto-coloured fluid lines remove the "did the drafter remember to colour this red?" failure mode that haunts manual drafting.
Typical workflow
- Set up the project with ISA-5.1 as the standard.
- Create the master P&ID for the section under design.
- Drop process equipment from the ISO 10628 library; place instrument bubbles (
FT,PT,LIC). - Connect with process pipes (auto-coloured) and electric-signal lines (dashed).
- Generate the BOM for procurement of valves, transmitters, pumps.
For electrical engineers — multi-standard schematic & SLD workflows
Electrical engineers benefit most from KKE Circuit's standards switcher: a project that started as IEC for an EU client can be exported and re-tagged for a US plant in minutes. The cable sizer and terminal-strip generator together remove the most repetitive manual work.
For automation engineers — PLC, I/O and panel workflows
Automation engineers use KKE Circuit's PLC drawing type to wire I/O, then auto-generate the I/O list as a deliverable. Sensor and relay-board drawings keep proximity sensors and safety relays out of the main schematic where they would clutter.
For project managers — reviews, tasks, BOM, procurement
Project managers run drawing approvals via PR-style reviews, track engineer workload via tasks, and push BOMs to procurement (Odoo or CSV) without touching CAD.
For external contractors and clients — viewing without an account
Clients open a read-only share link on any device. No installation, no account, no plug-in. The link expiry gives the engineer control over how long external visibility lasts.
For machine builders / OEMs
Machine builders document a standard machine once in KKE Circuit and clone the project per customer order, then customise (BOM, terminal strips, panel layout) per order. Multi-variant symbols mean the schematic, panel layout and terminal strip stay in sync.
For panel builders
Panel builders care most about the terminal strip drawings (auto-numbered) and the panel general arrangement (panel front view variant). KKE Circuit produces both from the same project as the schematic — no second tool needed.
For water/wastewater treatment
WWTP projects are dominated by P&IDs (ISA-5.1) plus PLC drawings. KKE Circuit's auto-coloured fluid lines (water blue, sludge brown, air cyan) match the corporate engineering standards of major water utilities.
For HVAC contractors
HVAC contractors use KKE Circuit for the electrical design of plant rooms (chillers, AHUs, pumps, VFDs) plus the control-panel schematics and terminal strips that wire DDC controllers to the field.
For food & beverage process plants
Sanitary-grade P&IDs with hygienic-design valves (mix-proof, butterfly, seat-lift) and CIP/SIP system documentation are direct fits for the ISA-5.1 + ISO 10628 library.
For oil & gas (P&ID-heavy)
Oil & gas P&IDs run to hundreds of sheets. KKE Circuit's cross-sheet net labels, instrument loop numbering, and shared symbol library scale to large projects.
