Troubleshooting & FAQ.
Common issues and how to fix them — wrong variants, missing terminal strips, floating nets, BOM mismatches — for teams in Worldwide.
For Worldwide: KKE Circuit is available across Global in English. Region: Global (INT).
"My symbol is showing the wrong variant"
Diagnosis: The drawing type is set to one type (say SLD), but the part has no SLD variant defined and falls back to schematic.
Fix: Open Library → part → Edit → SLD tab → draw the SLD variant geometry.
"My terminal strip didn't generate"
Diagnosis: Components are not assigned to a panel; or all components are on the same panel with no boundary crossings.
Fix: Project → Panel Manager → assign components. Re-run Generate.
"My net is showing as floating"
Diagnosis: A wire ends in mid-air (no pin connection, no net label).
Fix: Drawing → Validate → click the floating net → either complete the connection or add a net label.
"My BOM is missing parts"
Diagnosis: Some components are placed but have no library link (one-off DXF blocks), so they don't aggregate.
Fix: Replace the one-off blocks with library symbols, or right-click → Promote to library symbol.
"My PDF export looks off"
Diagnosis: Title-block placeholders did not resolve; or page extents do not match the export mode.
Fix: Confirm Project → Settings → Metadata has values for the placeholders. For oversized canvases, choose Export → PDF Pro which preserves vector at any plot scale.
"I can't connect to Odoo"
Checklist:
- Odoo URL reachable from public internet (or the KKE Circuit IP allow-listed in your firewall)?
- Odoo database name correct?
- API key (preferred) valid and not revoked?
- User has access to the
product.productmodel?

Performance tips for large schematics
- Split projects with > 100 sheets into sub-projects shared by reference designator continuity.
- Use the Library → Optimise pass on org symbols (collapses duplicate paths).
- Disable auto-hop arcs on dense sheets (View → Wire crossings → No hops).
