Projects & files.
How projects, folders and search work in the Google-Drive-style project browser — for teams in Worldwide.
For Worldwide: KKE Circuit is available across Global in English. Region: Global (INT).
The project browser explained
Quick answer: The dashboard's project browser presents projects as a folder hierarchy with breadcrumb navigation, drag-to-move, rename, and delete. Recent projects and pending tasks are shown as widgets on the dashboard. Full-text search covers project names, folder names, and task titles.
How to organise projects with folders
- New Folder in the breadcrumb area.
- Drag projects between folders.
- Folders nest; depth is unbounded.
- Folder permissions inherit from the parent.
How to move, rename, and delete projects
- Move: drag to target folder, or right-click → Move to….
- Rename: click the project name in the breadcrumb area.
- Delete: right-click → Move to Trash. Trash is purged after 30 days.
Full-text search across projects, folders, and tasks
Ctrl+K opens the command palette. Type to search:
- Projects (📁 icon)
- Folders (🗂 icon)
- Tasks (✅ icon)
- Drawings (📄 icon)
Click any result to jump.
Recent projects and pinned projects
The dashboard's Recent widget shows the 12 most recently opened projects. Pin a project (right-click → Pin) to keep it visible regardless of recency.
Storage quota
The sidebar shows a storage meter — used vs. quota. Storage is consumed by:
- Drawing JSON packages (typically 50–500 KB per drawing).
- Cached PDF / DXF exports (cleared every 90 days).
- Custom symbol libraries.
Increase quota by upgrading the plan (Settings → Billing → Plan).
